The study was prepared by the IT Ukraine Association for a comprehensive analysis of the technology sector. The report demonstrates the rapid evolution of the industry, which has turned into a highly intellectual industry with thousands of specialists and annual growth. The material emphasizes Ukraine’s status as a leading exporter of IT services in Europe and consistently attracts young people due to high demand and wage levels.
The content of the study covers all key aspects of the industry’s functioning: from the typification of companies and the geography of exports to a detailed analysis of talent, salaries and the educational base. Special attention is paid to the economic impact of IT, in particular tax revenues, investments and the implementation of the special legal regime Diya.City. The report also contains an analysis of the office real estate market in the conditions of a pandemic and detailed “portraits” of the largest IT regions of Ukraine, such as Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv.
The report methodology is based on a synthesis of data from official state registers (EDRPOU, State Statistics Service, State Tax Service, Ministry of Education and Science) and in-depth industry expertise.
