IT-Enterprise has launched the second phase of the digital transformation of production processes at PGA Electric, a Romanian cable manufacturer and one of the industry leaders with over €38 million in turnover and more than 3,000 clients across Europe.
The second phase focuses on enhancing the efficiency of production planning and management. Key objectives include optimizing planning and modeling alternative scenarios, enabling online monitoring and control of order fulfillment, shortening production cycles, and increasing output capacity through further digitalization of processes. At the enterprise management level, the project aims to reduce inventory, improve operational transparency, and minimize the impact of the human factor.
During the first phase, implemented in 2024 over eight months, attention was focused on creating a unified digital database of production data, automating production preparation, and optimizing material cost calculations. As part of the ERP implementation by IT-Enterprise, accurate cost modeling for new products and contracts was enabled. According to IT-Enterprise estimates, this allowed PGA Electric to reduce production costs by 0.5–2% and increase productivity — an effect particularly important for companies working with customized batches of cable and wire products.
The cooperation with PGA Electric demonstrates how industrial companies scale digital solutions and achieve measurable economic impact. The second phase represents an evolution from data digitalization to the digitalization of production efficiency. Technology enables companies to model plans, manage costs, and strengthen their competitive positions in the European market. For IT-Enterprise, this project confirms that Ukrainian ERP solutions are strong players in the global market for manufacturing digital transformation

The second phase is expected to last around six months. After its completion, the companies plan to further scale digital solutions to optimize PGA Electric’s production processes.
