Despite the challenges posed by war and economic turbulence, the Ukrainian business community continues to unite with a common goal: to create a sustainable financial future.

The 23rd Ukrainian CFO Forum brought together 729 participants in Kyiv and online. Over 20 hours of a practical program were delivered by more than 60 speakers. It was a powerful dialogue among financial leaders, analysts, investors, and CEOs from across Ukraine. The forum became a space where strategic thinking, analytics, technology, and humanity converged to drive the development of finance as a transformative force.

Do not fear risks; learn to use them,

– inspired Professor Volodymyr Savchuk from MIB.

The two-day event brought together executives from leading companies such as Nova Poshta, McDonald’s, Philip Morris, Danone, Rozetka-EVO, Comfy, Metinvest Group, Nemiroff, LPP Ukraine, Roshen, Brocard, DVL, Novus, Fora, Foxtrot, Uklon, and others. CFOs, CEOs, and financial directors discussed new management models, investment strategies, crisis management tools, and the role of finance in shaping strategies for sustainable growth.

The danger of russian software is real, and the state has finally acknowledged this, introducing new legislation. Therefore, by 2030, Ukrainian companies must find alternative sources,

– said Dmytro Popinako, CEO of Innoware.

The discussions centered on digital transformation, risk management, compliance, and analytical culture. Forum partners—Innoware, IT-Enterprise, SMART business, Business Evolution, Sapiens Tech, Eigenmethod, MODUS X, “VchAsno”—presented practical cases of automation, cloud solutions, and the development of next-generation financial systems that help businesses act faster, more accurately, and more effectively.

A CFO is someone who balances resources and ensures optimal efficiency,

– noted Roman Iavorskyi, CCO at IT-Enterprise.

Separate discussions were dedicated to risk management and compliance. Representatives from Payoneer and AC Crowe Ukraine shared their practices for counterparty checks, risk management, and implementing preventive financial solutions.

Cash is the new oxygen, and today, the role of the financial leader is to ensure a company’s stable ‘breathing’ amidst uncertainty, maintaining a balance between flexibility, efficiency, and growth,

– said Yevhen Boyko, Board Member and CFO at Electro Cable Group.

Particular attention was paid to business resilience and responsible leadership. PUMB, the financial partner of the forum, showcased how systemic support for corporate clients can be the key to economic recovery even in uncertain times.

Ukraine’s economy is no longer about survival but about resilience,

– said Galyna Onyshchuk, Director of the Corporate Business Department at PUMB.

The forum participants also took part in a charity fundraiser to purchase a drone for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which became an integral part of the event—symbolising collective resilience and gratitude to those who defend the opportunity to work and develop. A charity auction with authentic lots was held, with proceeds from the sales going to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The forum traditionally brought together a broad community of partners who made this event possible. The organizers, FAService, express their sincere thanks to PUMB, Asters, Business Evolution, AC Crowe Ukraine, Innoware, Payoneer, SMART business, EigenMethod, EBS, Tomcas, “VchAsno”, MODUS X, ABM Cloud, Sapiens Tech, IT-Enterprise, INGO, Neurotrack, Arzinger, ACCA, Glenmorangie, Ascania Group, Lavazza, My Water Shop, Diia City Union, Silpo Voyage, Vina Svitu, Andreas Moskin, and other companies that supported the development of Ukraine’s financial community.

A CFO should drive transformation,

– emphasised Andrii Shevtsov, CFO of Metinvest Group.

The 23rd Ukrainian CFO Forum confirmed that Ukraine’s financial leaders are capable not only of calculating numbers but of creating the future—through strategy, determination, and humanity.
