GlobalLogic’s parent company, Hitachi, will acquire the German company synvert. This deal will strengthen GlobalLogic’s expertise in Big Data and consulting, and will expand its presence in Europe and the Middle East.
Yuliia Shtukaturava, GlobalLogic’s Head of the European Region, commented on the expansion plans in a recent interview:
We are planning to open new offices in Europe. Specifically, we are looking at the Iberian Peninsula—we have an office in Spain that we want to expand, and Portugal is also of interest to us. These countries offer a great combination of engineering talent and a client market

The acquisition of synvert is one of the strategic steps in this direction. Synvert is a leading consulting firm that provides services in the field of data and AI. The company boasts over 200 clients and 3,000 projects, uniting more than 550 highly qualified specialists in data governance, platform engineering, and analytics.
The integration of synvert into GlobalLogic will be a key stage in our global strategy. It will strengthen our capabilities in data and consulting, and expand our presence in Europe and the Middle East in sectors such as energy, retail, finance, and insurance. Following the completion of the deal, synvert will complement GlobalLogic’s expertise in digital engineering and AI. The company’s presence in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, and the Middle East will help expand operations in these markets in cooperation with Hitachi Rail and Hitachi Energy. Specifically, the agreement will accelerate the implementation of HMAX — a suite of Hitachi solutions designed to increase autonomy and drive innovation through Agentic and Physical AI.
As Agentic AI develops, modern corporate data infrastructure becomes critical. synvert’s specialists ensure the seamless integration, governance, and utilisation of data for AI agents and decision-making systems.
