On August 23, the IT university Neoversity held AI Cyber Forum 2025 — the largest online forum on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in Ukraine. The event gathered cyber experts, AI innovators, IT professionals, as well as representatives of defense tech, education, and business. Participants discussed how AI is already transforming cyber defense and defense technologies, business processes, and approaches to modern education.
At the forum, experts discussed new methods of cyberattacks and defense, safe integration of AI into business production, the development of autonomous agents, and the challenges of training future cybersecurity professionals.
AI Cyber Forum 2025 also became a platform where the industry united for the future of children. Within the forum, Neoversity together with UNITED24 — Ukraine’s official fundraising platform — launched a campaign to support the reconstruction of schools and the arrangement of shelters. The forum audience donated over ₴100,000, and Neoversity doubled this amount, transferring ₴208,000 to rebuild schools and shelters.
Artificial intelligence accelerates cyberattacks dozens of times: what previously took weeks now happens in just minutes. Phishing, deepfakes, multi-layered AI systems — all represent new “layers of problems” for cybersecurity. During a panel discussion, speakers from mono, UKRSIBBANK, and ISSP discussed the major shifts in cybersecurity under the influence of AI, the importance of qualified professionals, and the critical need to adapt to emerging threats.

We see both black hat and white hat researchers investing heavily in prompt poisoning. One case was the recent incident with Amazon Q, where millions of users could have lost their code due to a malicious library on GitHub. This is a huge problem that requires systematic work,

Serhii Saraichykov (Certified Ethical Hacker, Co-owner of A42) highlighted the limitations of traditional security systems and explained why the future belongs to AI agents. He emphasised that cyber threats have long been bypassing conventional vulnerability scanners, and without the use of AI, companies are essentially “playing in the past.”
Traditional scanners only check against a database of known vulnerabilities. But when the attack is new, they are powerless. AI agents, on the other hand, can learn from real behavioral patterns and respond in real time,

Sviatoslav Lohyn (Head of Engineering Excellence & Quality and AI Solutions Architect, EVO) focused on the challenges of scaling and integrating AI into company workflows. He emphasised that true integration is not just about connecting ChatGPT, but about reshaping business processes so that the end user can feel the difference.
Using EVO as an example, he demonstrated how AI can improve quality and accelerate work across all stages of development — from writing requirements and design to testing, documentation, and marketplace translations. Such approaches allow the company not only to save time but also to embed AI into production securely and at scale.
Artificial intelligence is becoming a key factor in protecting critical infrastructure and in modern warfare across both digital and physical domains. This was the focus of the second panel discussion featuring representatives from MODUS X (DTEK Group), Mantis Analytics, and Frontline.
When we talk about protecting critical infrastructure, response time is everything. A delay of just a few minutes can result in massive consequences for millions of Ukrainians. Ten, twenty, or thirty years ago, states or companies learned about hostile information campaigns only after the fact. Then came OSINT. Today, thanks to AI, we can model scenarios in advance. Defense will always remain reactive to some degree, but the ability to look ahead and simulate possible attacks is AI’s key advantage,

The biggest risk we face is data leakage. Robots on the battlefield transmit HD video showing where a drone took off, where it operated, what it saw, and where it returned. This creates a direct risk to the lives of operators, as their location can be identified. There is also the potential leakage of critical tactical data — exactly what enemy intelligence is hunting for,

The future lies in specialised models, fine-tuning, RAG systems. But the most critical factor is proper agent architecture and high-quality prompt engineering,

The market needs practitioner-architects who can combine cybersecurity with AI. Theory alone is not enough — we need simulations, incident response training, and work with real-life cases,
