SoftServe has been awarded a Silver Award in the “Best Programme for Charitable or Non-Profit Organisations” category at the Corporate Engagement Awards (CEA) for its partnership with the Superhumans Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Centre.
The partnership began in 2023 with a training mission funded by the company for $1 million. Doctors from the Medical Centre for Orthotics and Prosthetics (Maryland, USA) came to Ukraine to train Ukrainian physicians in managing complex amputation cases. This initiative has helped over two dozen military personnel receive modern prosthetics while providing Ukrainian prosthetists with new experience.
Since the beginning of the full-scale wa, between 20,000 and 50,000 Ukrainians have lost limbs. These individuals require comprehensive rehabilitation to have a chance at a dignified life. To support them, we initiated a partnership with the Superhumans Centre, which rehabilitates approximately 3,000 patients each year. We are already seeing the first results from our joint prosthetics training mission, and we continue to work together to provide further assistance to those affected by the war in Ukraine,

SoftServe also provides technical support to Superhumans. As part of the OpenTech programme, the company’s specialists are developing a mobile application for monitoring patients’ health, enabling the tracking of both physical and emotional well-being during rehabilitation.
The Corporate Engagement Awards (CEA) is an annual award from the British magazine Communicate, recognising corporate initiatives. This is the fifth time SoftServe has received the award from CEA.
