CEO,
Wargaming
Like everyone else, we have faced new working conditions and a new reality in which we work. The safety of the company’s employees was and is our first priority. In a short period of time, we managed to adjust the processes and come back to full-fledged work. Our games are played by millions of people all around the world, so it’s important to maintain the development and operation of our products at a high standard. The Association unites the leading companies in the IT market; therefore its role in the coordination of general initiatives of the industry is very important. It is also important for us to inform about current events in the country and their impact on the industry, as well as to involve all market players in solving both general and individual problems of industry representatives. The Association acts as such a mediator between the industry and third parties — the government, other countries, partners. In addition, the Association consolidates the participants and the market and helps to come up with the agreed stated solutions. And, of course, it’s an informational aid that helps us better understand the current circumstances and their impact on us and the industry — both from the inside and the outside. Communities are always about uniting for shared values or interests. In addition to their own, each company in the market has common interests. And therefore, thanks to the community, industry representatives can specify them and coordinate actions to achieve more for each of the participants. A crisis is a moment when a business can become stronger. But whether it is going to happen – depends on us.
