Verkhovna Rada Committee supported bill № 5371

Verkhovna Rada Committee supported bill № 5371

Publication date:

  • 31.05.2021

Publication from:

IT Ukraine

On May 28, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans’ Rights considered bill № 5371 on simplification of labor relations and reduction of the administrative burden on entrepreneurial activity.

The Committee decided to include this bill in the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada session.

The document provides for amendments to the Labor Code of Ukraine, which introduces a contractual regime for the regulation of labor relations. This regime will apply to employment relationships that arise between:
  • employees and employers: small and medium enterprises with up to 250 employees;
  • an employer and an employee whose salary is more than 8 minimum wages per month.
We remind you that the IT Ukraine Association, together with the Ukrainian Business Council and the Office of Simple Solutions & Results initiated a bill № 5371. This document is aimed at implementing the principle of freedom of employment contract. This bill is one of the possible solutions to the problem of retraining the relationship between IT companies and sole proprietors in labor relations.
