This year Ukraine became a partner of the international tech exhibition Smart Country Convention 2023 in Germany for the first time and received great interest from the participants.
SCCON 2023 is the leading event in the GovTech industry, which brought together 12,000 participants and more than 400 speakers to share experiences and the latest technologies in the digitalisation of administrative services, GovTech and Smart City.
The event in Germany demonstrated the high interest of the EU market in Ukraine – our developments and companies. The Ukrainian national stand was the focus of special attention of business, government officials, embassies, and entire delegations from Germany, Switzerland, Estonia, Portugal, and other countries. Companies are already bringing back new partnerships, projects, and cooperation proposals from Berlin,
said Maria Shevchuk, Acting Executive Director of the ITU.
Seven Ukrainian companies presented their innovative services and best IT products, including Digicode, ELEKS, Sigma Software Group, TRICARE, and the GovTech IT Cluster of Ukraine (42flows.tech, KitSoft, and Prozori Solution), at the national stand of Ukraine.
The team from Ukraine introduced the best achievements of the Ukrainian IT industry, the capabilities of Ukrainian GovTech and Smart City, and impressed with the high level of digitalization of national services that make Ukraine a leader in digitalization in the world.
Germany is one of Ukraine’s the most important trading and investing partners. Germany is among the top 10 customers of Ukrainian IT services. The close cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in the field of IT and the latest technologies contributes to mutual development and strengthens the positions of both countries in the global market of innovations and IT solutions.
The national stand of Ukraine at the Smart Country Convention 2023 was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation together with the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (Ukraine), Diia.Business with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany and the IT Ukraine Association.
