Miratech helps Ukrainian students to join the IT-community

A part of Miratech Corporate Responsibility Strategy is a support of the of IT-education development. For many years, the company has been supporting students of technical universities seeking to pursue a career in the IT-industry. And this year was no exception - the spring of 2018 was filled with a number of student events supported by Miratech.

On April 19 at the faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Kiev Polytechnic Institute took place the XVI Annual International Scientific and Practical Student Conference, devoted to the 120th anniversary of the University. Representatives of Miratech were among the members of the jury who chose the best scientific work and presentation. Oleksiy Perekatov, Vice President on Corporate Marketing, Ph.D., also presented a "Join IT. Where can KPI graduates work?" animated presentation. Judging by the reaction of teachers and students, it was successful.

We are very interested in a support from the international IT-community, through which our graduates will be able to find a job faster. In addition to ongoing cooperation, we are always looking forward to see Miratech at our conferences again. Through interesting and informative lectures, they provide a real practical component to the theoretical knowledge of our students and graduate students and allow us to orientate in the selection of the most promising areas.

On May 12, the Sikorsky Challenge Elementary School organized a regional event called the Technovation Challenge, an international schooling program. Twenty-nine teams of girls aged from 10 to 18 from 37 cities of Ukraine presented their products - 29 mobile programs designed to change Ukraine. Members of the jury included representatives of Miratech.

"In such events, which Miratech regularly supports, as for me, the most important confirmation of their importance is the comments of the participants: "I used to never thought I would be engaged in IT, but now I can not imagine how to live without IT" There were a lot of such words this year, as well as twice as many visitors than that year, which means that the IT-community will soon receive a lot of talented specialists", - said Olena Zhylych, Vice President of Miratech, Business Development Director for Central and Eastern Europe .

On May 31, Olena Zhylych was also a guest speaker at the national youth conference "My Career in Ukraine". During the panel discussion, "I'm not afraid of failure: the mistakes I'm grateful for," Elena told about the successful history of her impressive career at Miratech from Team Assurance from 2005 to vice president in 2015. History has caused enormous interest in the youth present at the conference.

On May 14-15, the State University of Telecommunications and the International Telecommunication Union held the Regional Conference "4G/5G Based Digital Future", in which representatives of Miratech also spoke. The company also donated computers for the installation of a training laboratory.

Miratech focuses on ethical and social responsibility, and IT-education support as a part of our strategic program. We are pleased to be able to support technical universities in training qualified engineers who will be able to strengthen Miratech as well as the entire IT-industry in the nearest future

Anatoliy Yavtushenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the State University of Telecommunications, thanked Miratech for his conscientious attitude to the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement.

"This is not the first time when Miratech has helped to set up training laboratories and supported our science-practical conference, and this is just the tip of the iceberg, that is, the visible part of our collaboration, and Miratech's help in everyday work on the effective organization of an innovative learning process is no less important and is valuable for us", - said Mr. Yavtushenko.

On May 25 Igor Dyachkov, Senior Key Account Manager at Miratech, was invited as a speaker at the Interregional Business Oriented Innovation Forum "Open Poltava Region," which was held at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade. In his speech, Igor shared his experience and success stories in building long-term relationships with clients and also talked about reasons to join the IT-community.

"We are grateful to Miratech for its relentless work with information technology programs for our region, both for academics and students, and support from the leading global company enhances the attractiveness of our events. We look forward to fruitful cooperation in the future within the framework of various projects," said Igor Kolodiy, Director General of the Regional Development Agency of the Poltava region.

Also, the company was active in other regions as well. So, Vinnytsia R&D Center of Miratech has established good relations with Vinnytsia National Technical University and supports the annual All-Ukrainian Student Competition Programming.

In Kharkiv, Miratech has opened a fully equipped training laboratory at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. There are also several Miratech specialists trained there. The best students have the opportunity to take internships in a company with the opportunity to get permanent employment.
