IT company N-iX joined the #AntiVirus initiative and donated 1,100 medical respirators and 1,000 complete medical kits to medical facilities. The total sum of assistance amounted to UAH 303,780, thanks to a partnership with the UFond charity fund.
Respirators and complete medical protection kits received the following medical facilities:
- Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 6
- Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 5
- CNE "Vyshgorod Central District Hospital" Vyshgorod District Council
When we at N-iX created our foundation to fight COVID-19, our main goal was to make the most impact on the communities in which we live and work. Today we see a great need for help to medical workers and support of Ukrainian medicine. So in May, N-iX allocated 150,000 UAH for medical insurance, and now it has joined the #AntiVirus project of the IT Ukraine Association and purchased personal protective equipment for hospitals in Kyiv and Kyiv region. We hope this will give an extra sense of safety and support to people who are fighting the virus every day,,— said Andriy Pavliv, CEO and founder of N-iX
We remind you that #AntiVirus is an initiative of the Association "IT Ukraine", designed to prevent the spread of coronavirus 2019-nCoV and help medical professionals in Ukraine in the fight against it. Since launching the initiative on March 26, the team has coordinated the efforts of companies, medical institutions, charitable foundations, and regional IT clusters to be effective in helping doctors. In the first stage, we focused on purchasing personal protective equipment for doctors and medical equipment. So far, the initiative has been supported by EPAM, GlobalLogic, Miratech, ELEKS, Ubisoft, Intellias, Dev.Pro, Luxoft, and N-iX.
