ITU members will join the MES's projects on E-education

On March 7, 2018, a Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the IT Ukraine Association was signed. In particular, the joint work of the MES and the Association will be aimed at creating a modern educational environment, introducing effective regulation of the educational technology market, promoting the development of digital competences and e-learning in society.

Today, digital educational technologies are becoming very popular. They help create interactive and entertaining materials for students, provide access to quality education, enable teachers to distance their qualifications, open up new opportunities for lifelong learning

Lilia Grynevich, Minister of Education and Science

One of the central projects to be attended by the Association's experts is the creation of an e-learning platform and the development of the market for electronic textbooks. In addition, members of the Association will be able to participate in the creation of an effective system for collecting and analyzing statistics on information and computer technologies in Ukrainian education.

The Ukrainian IT-industry, like other sectors of the creative economy, is a knowledge-based industry. Thus, the introduction of modern technologies in the educational process and the simplification of access to sources of knowledge are extremely important first steps that will contribute to the formation of a new cohort of highly educated specialists not only for the IT-industry, but also for other sectors of the economy
