Together, we have analyzed the current problems of Ukrainian IT education and identified priority initiatives for reform and are now working on its implementation,

Artur Seletsky, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, stressed the importance of joint efforts of business and the Government in the development of IT education.

First of all, we have reviewed all the approaches to IT education that already exist today. This is important because the IT market is constantly moving and constantly changing. 5 years is a long enough time for something to change. And the synergy of business and the state will help to make these changes qualitatively and at all levels,

It is worth reminding that already today Ukrainian IT companies lack 50–60 thousand people, and this is subject to rapid annual market development by 20–30%. This means only one thing: companies are in dire need of qualified personnel who need to be trained and/or retrained if attracted from other industries. This is possible with close cooperation between business, government and educational institutions.
