Intellias

ITU Member Intellias, a global technology company, has been recognized among the top three finalists in Ukraine’s first-ever WEPs Awards 2025 in the WEPs Signatories Award category.

The WEPs Awards honor companies that demonstrate significant progress in advancing gender equality, champion the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), and create equitable opportunities for women across their workplaces, communities, and society at large.

The awards ceremony took place in Kyiv on November 17th  as part of the EXPO 2025 Women’s Entrepreneurship Exhibition, an event designed to highlight and encourage initiatives that expand women’s economic opportunities at work and in the community. EXPO 2025 was organized by UN Women Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine and with support from the governments of Sweden and France.

Intellias became the first IT company in Ukraine to sign the WEPs in 2021 and has fully integrated the principles into its business processes. According to the WEPs Gender Gap Analysis Tool, Intellias achieved an 83% implementation rate in 2025, compared to 14% in 2021.

For Intellias, this recognition is not only about achievement. It is about people and the values that unite us. We are building an environment where everyone can realise their potential— regardless of gender, age, or life experience

— Maryna Dudnyk, Head of D&I at Intellias.

Intellias initiatives recognised by the WEPs Awards jury include:

  • Implementation of anti-discrimination, anti-bullying, anti-harassment, gender equality, and family support policies.
  • A comprehensive Code of Ethics and an Ethics Committee to ensure transparent mechanisms for reporting and response
  • Inclusive office infrastructure: children’s rooms, breastfeeding rooms, well-being spaces, and fully accessible environments for people with disabilities
  • Regular DEI training on inclusive leadership, bias prevention, and veteran support.

Today, over 47% of managerial positions at Intellias are held by women, who are represented across all levels of the organization, from engineering roles to top management.

A major platform for professional development at Intellias is She Is Tech, an internal and external community that unites more than 400 women inside the company and over 2,300 externally. Intellias also implements programs such as EmpowerHer and Leading a Team, which are aimed at cultivating women’s leadership and managerial skills.

Additionally, Intellias collaborates with UN Women, UNFPA, Women in Tech, Veteran Hub, Invictus Games, and multiple civil society organizations to advance gender equality, inclusion, and veteran support.

As part of its joint program with UNFPA10 Intellias mentors conducted individual sessions with women who survived violence. All participants reported a positive impact, and two have already been promoted to new roles.
