Specialised Chairs for Mobile Teams of the Chernihiv Regional Blood Center
In the summer of 2025, the ITU Member JEVERA & XME.digital, supported a fundraising campaign initiated by the Chernihiv Regional Blood Center to purchase specialised chairs for blood collection by the centre’s mobile teams.
The Chernihiv Regional Blood Center serves not only the city of Chernihiv and the surrounding region but also the Sumy direction. To quickly respond to the demand for donor blood, the centre engages mobile teams, allowing blood collection directly in the communities without the need to visit the central blood collection facility. For the mobile teams to operate efficiently, specialised equipment, including chairs for blood collection, is necessary.
The JEVERA & XME.digital team organised an internal fundraiser among employees, supplemented the collected sum with corporate funds, and donated the funds to the blood centre to purchase one of these chairs. The company has active blood donors on its team, so to promote this cause, meetings with representatives of the Blood Centre and Q&A sessions were held within the company.
