Global Sourcing Awards: 5 ITU members got to the finals

The renowned international organization Global Sourcing Association (headquartered in London) has released a list of finalists of the prestigious Global Sourcing Awards 2018, which will name the best IT-companies and projects of the past year. The final of the competition and the award ceremony will take place on October 2 within the Global Sourcing Summit, which will be held in Cape Town (SAR) this year.

The list of finalists in different categories also includes a number of IT-companies that were founded or are operating in the territory of Ukraine:

  • Eleks (Ukrainian company headquartered in Lviv) in the nominations "IT-Outsourcing Project of the Year", "The Best IT-Services Supplier" and "Outstanding Achievements in the Development of Employees";
  • EPAM (Belarusian company with offices in Ukraine). The organizers marked the company with the nominations "The Best IT-Service Provider", "Outstanding Achievements in Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Outstanding Achievements in the Development of Employees";
  • Itera (Norwegian company with an office in Ukraine) in the categories "The Best IT-Service Provider", "The Best User Experience Provider" and "Outstanding Achievements in Employee Development";
  • Miratech (a Ukrainian company with headquarters in New York). A coryphaeus of the Ukrainian IT industry will compete for the championship in the nominations "IT-Outsourcing Project of the Year", "Best IT-Service Provider" and "Innovative Project of the Year".

Note that PwC, a partner of the IT Ukraine Association, also entered the Global Sourcing Awards finalists in the categories of "Contract of the Year in the BPO segment" and "Consulting/Law Firm of the Year".

Among the honors of the best players in the international IT-services market, the country will also be selected, whose companies have become reliable digital service providers for their customers and which make a significant contribution to the development of the industry. This year Ukraine also joined the list of nominees of the category "Global Destination of the Year".

Last year, the Global Sourcing Association awarded Ukraine the "Offshoring Destination of the Year" award as the best supplier of IT-services to the UK. We would also like to note that this would have been impossible without the efforts of the N-IX company, which proposed the candidature of Ukraine in this nomination.
