Valtech Ukraine proudly presents its first-ever Diversity & Inclusion Report 2024. It highlights achievements, challenges and key initiatives in fostering diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion. The report illustrates the company’s adaptation to global and local changes and the role of D&I in shaping a resilient, supportive, and inclusive corporate culture.
Valtech has been developing its Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy since 2021. Over the years, the company has integrated D&I into its corporate culture, combining global best practices with local contexts to address challenges effectively. A similar concept, GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion), primarily focuses on gender equality, social inclusion, and the integration of vulnerable groups. However, D&I encompasses a broader spectrum of diversity in the workplace, including gender balance, age diversity, neurodiversity, and accessibility for people with disabilities.

Why is the Diversity & Inclusion approach important in Ukraine?
D&I is a strategic approach that transforms company culture, fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering work environment. In the context of war in Ukraine, inclusivity, psychological safety, and team support are more crucial than ever.
We strive to create a comfortable and safe space for our people, regardless of their backgrounds or individual differences — a workplace where they can grow and feel supported,
— says Anastasiia Kaisyn, Head of People & Culture at Valtech Ukraine.
Key D&I Initiatives and Projects
We believe that true inclusion is not just about equal opportunities but also about supporting each other through the most challenging moments. This report reflects our journey and is a step forward toward a more open and united community,
— emphasizes Svetlana Gerassimova, Managing Director at Valtech Ukraine.
